Around this time every winter I start to yearn for spring. I get sick of the dreary, cold gray sky and daydream about the day the Earth explodes with color and new life. . Every winter Adrienne and I reflect on our previous year. We take the time to celebrate our successes, which often times we glaze over in the height of wedding season. We take time to recognize things that may be holding us back and reconcile them. We create a game plan for the new year. We set goals (this year it’s quite an ambitious list!)
Spring inspires me on so many levels. It’s the time we set to work and make those goals reality. It’s also when we finalize all of our plans with brides for the coming season. I love to watch all of their weddings come to life. I love getting outside and experiencing new things with my little one. I get excited for bubbles and chalk. It’s like being a kid again.
I know when my tulips peak their little buds out of the ground the time is near. You can imagine my excitement when I saw this, this morning:
